With millions of people working from home since the coronavirus pandemic, the remote working approach has allowed many office employees the opportunity to try a new way of working. When it comes to the future of work, according to Slack’s latest survey, 72% of workers want a mixture of remote and office working called hybrid work approach.

By removing the requirement to be physically in an office, employees split their time between home and office. A common practice of the current hybrid system is to schedule certain days for in-office meetings and collaboration and remote days for work requiring individual attention. It is crystal clear that physical presence is needed for orientations, team-building exercises, and project kick-offs, but not always for other tasks.
