Earlier this month, Sensgreen participated in the first-ever Niagara Pro Cloud Integrator (PCI) Training event in the region, co-hosted by Ontrol MEA at DIFC FinTech Hive, Dubai’s innovation and technology hub. The event brought together system integrators, building automation professionals, and solution providers to explore the technical foundations and applied use of the Niagara Cloud Suite.

The training offered a structured, hands-on experience designed to accelerate the adoption of cloud-native BMS solutions

Key topics covered throughout the day included:

  • The architecture and functionality of the Niagara Cloud Suite

  • Secure remote access and device onboarding workflows using Niagara Remote™

  • System modeling, data tagging, and API integrations

  • Dashboard creation and user management in the Niagara cloud portal

  • A live session on the Niagara Tenant Billing Service (NTBS)

  • An overview of the latest features in Niagara 4.15

Throughout the day, participants engaged in practical exercises that reflected real-world deployment scenarios. From managing distributed building systems remotely to configuring dynamic data flows and alerts, the sessions focused on reliability, security, and scalability.

As Sensgreen, we contributed by showcasing how Edge AI capabilities can process environmental data locally, enabling low-latency decision-making while minimizing bandwidth usage. We demonstrated how our systems integrate with the Niagara Cloud Suite to deliver live, actionable insights for energy efficiency, predictive maintenance, and indoor air quality optimization.

This training went far beyond theoretical knowledge. Participants gained concrete skills in configuring and maintaining cloud-based BMS infrastructures, with real-time control, secure data communication, and seamless integration at the core.

At Sensgreen, we view events like this not just as learning opportunities but as essential steps toward building open, interoperable, and autonomous building ecosystems. By combining edge intelligence with cloud orchestration, we are helping accelerate the transition to smarter, more adaptive buildings.

We thank the Ontrol MEA team and all participants for their collaboration and engagement throughout the day. We’re looking forward to supporting more trainings that advance the technical capacity of the building automation community, both regionally and globally.
