Your building AI operator.
Sensei optimizes your building.
Skilled BMS engineers are scarce, and nobody can watch every point in every building. Ask Sensei what you want in a sentence. It reads your live building data, tells you exactly what to change and what it saves, then makes the change with your approval and verifies it worked.
How it works
It reads your building, not your documentation.
Sensei reasons over your live BACnet, Modbus, and IoT telemetry instead of static manuals, so every recommendation reflects what your equipment is doing right now.
Diagnose
It finds what is quietly costing.
Sensei traces the root cause of comfort and energy problems across live building data and delivers a ranked daily briefing of what costs you most, not one more alarm to triage.
Optimize
Tell it what you want. It tells you exactly what to change.
Sensei gives facility managers a specific, deterministically calculated recommendation that names the exact setpoint, damper position, or schedule to change and quantifies the saving without risking comfort.
Act · closed loop
It does not just advise. It acts, then checks its work.
With your approval, Sensei dispatches the change through the control dispatcher, verifies that the building responded, and logs the outcome.
That is the energy story, start to finish. Sensei runs the same loop on the two things every facility manager is judged on next: the air people breathe, and the equipment that has to keep running.
Air quality
Compliant right now? Ask. Then ask how to fix it.
Sensei checks any zone against the WHO IAQ standard on live data with the evidence attached, then tells you exactly what to change to return to limits without undoing your energy savings.
Maintenance
What is failing now. What is about to.
Sensei surfaces equipment faults as they happen and flags assets trending toward failure from their telemetry, so your team fixes problems before a unit goes down.
Report & comply
The monthly report writes itself.
Sensei drafts your operating reports, compliance answers, tariff breakdowns, and Scope 2 summaries directly from live building data in your own format.
Portfolio
Rank every building with one question.
Sensei answers estate-wide questions like ranking every building by energy intensity, IAQ risk, or open faults, giving asset managers a portfolio view no per-building tool can produce.
Frequently asked questions
What is Sensei?
Sensei is the intelligence layer of the Sensgreen platform. You ask for what you want in plain language and Sensei does it: it reasons over your building’s live BMS and IoT data the way a senior engineer would, tells you exactly what to change and what it saves, and makes the change with your approval. Think of it as a senior building engineer working across every building you operate, without adding headcount.
What can it actually do?
Tell you why a floor is warm. Tell you what to change to cut energy without a comfort complaint, then make the change with your approval and confirm it worked. Draft your monthly operating report. Answer whether you are compliant right now, with the evidence. Build an alarm, a schedule, or a rule from a sentence. Rank your buildings by whatever matters this week. All of it by asking in plain language.
How is it different from my BMS?
- Your BMS runs the building on programmed sequences and setpoints. It is not built to notice when a schedule is out of date, an override is left in place, or a damper leaks, so waste stays hidden until someone goes looking. Sensei layers on top, reads the same data, and surfaces the waste, the cause, and the fix, then closes the loop when you approve it.
How is it different from fault detection or energy analytics tools?
Fault detection tools output alarms your team has to triage. Analytics tools stop at dashboards and reports. Both leave the interpretation and the work on you. Sensei treats faults and data as inputs. It reasons across signals, finds the real cause, works out whether a fix is worth doing, acts on it, and measures the outcome. Your team gets a short list of ready work and verified results, not alert fatigue.
Does it work with the systems I already run?
Yes. Sensei is vendor-agnostic and works across mixed estates. It connects over standard building protocols including BACnet and Modbus, ingests wireless IoT sensors over LoRaWAN, and controls split ACs, radiator valves, and HVAC units through the wireless BMS layer. The Integration Hub connects third-party BMS, SCADA, and ERP systems, and a public REST API is available. Buildings with no legacy BMS can start from the Cloud BMS and Wireless BMS layer.
Does it act on the building on its own?
No. Sensei proposes, you approve, and only then does it dispatch the command. Every action carries a command lifetime and rolls back automatically on an anomaly, and every outcome is logged and verifiable. The reasoning layer is kept separate from the control layer, so write authority is governed and auditable at all times.
Does it replace my building engineers?
No. It does the continuous analytical work no team can do at scale: watching every point in every building, every minute. That frees your engineers for the higher-value work, like planning, tenant experience, and executing the fixes Sensei has already validated as worth doing. It puts senior-level engineering in the hands of a junior facility manager.
Is my building data secure?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-based, and the reasoning layer is kept separate from the control layer so writeback authority is governed and auditable. Every action carries a command lifetime and an automatic rollback on anomaly. How is it priced?
Sensei is priced per site as part of the platform, not metered per question, so your team can ask it whatever they need without watching a credit counter. Talk to us for a quote tailored to your portfolio.
